I've read lots about bee corridors – such a wonderful idea. They not only help wildlife but can also foster a sense of community, which is what happened here. Win-win!
This is an inspiring story of someone who used their lockdown time in a really positive way. A simple idea that has just snowballed. Sometimes it really does only take one person.
great ideas :) we should all try to plant more bee friendly plants like the list in the blog Bev posted earlier, so bees don't get so exhausted looking for pollen. I especially like the idea of putting out bowls of sugar water to help tired bees...
